June Rong Consulting (JRC) was established
in 1995, based in Ontario, Canada. The main objective of this consulting
firm is to leverage the IT industry and telecommunication industry and
international telecommunication market experience of the founders to serve
various potential customers in North America.
JRC's prime, Mr. Zhenjun Zhu, obtained his B.Sc. of Mathematics from
a world-famous Chinese university and his B.Sc. in Computer Science from
University of Western Ontario, Canada. He went on to obtain his M.Sc. in
Computer Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Queen's University,
Canada. He has extensive IT industry experience from working with IBM,
plus extensive and in-depth telecommunication technology and business experience
from working with Nortel, Newbridge Networks and Lucent Technologies. Besides
the excellent understanding of the industry from vendor's point of view,
he also has thorough understanding and insights from service provider's
point of view, from working with SBC Communication Inc. (the parent of Southwestern
Bell, Pacific Bell) as a consultant on telecommunication management system
(OSS), and on training a number of China and Hong Kong service providers
on various technologies and products.

The Unique Strong Asia/China Telecom Industry Experience
As early as 1996, we were involved in its first project, helping a China
cable TV company establishing its HFC data network. While the founder was
working with Newbridge Network's Asia Pacific Division, he was involved
in extensive business and technical dealing with major Asia Pacific telecommunication
customers such as China Telecom, Hong Kong Telecom, New World Telephone of Hong Kong,
AT&T World Partners, KDD of Japan, Shanghai Information Industry Co., and
China Unicom. While he was a technical market manager with Lucent Technologies,
he successfully delivered various technical solutions to a number of customers
and increased the amount of revenue from China and Hong Kong market for
the product line that he was responsible for. Also, he made significant
contribution to the market specification and development for the product
line that benefits customers globally.
